this year Mahakumbh It is going to be held in Prayagraj and will start from January 13 and end on February 26, 2025. Crowds of pilgrims come from all over the world to be a part of this festival. This year around 40 crore devotees will participate in the fair. With such a large number of visitors in mind, the government and local leaders have introduced innovative sleeping pods as an affordable accommodation option.
Inspired by Japanese-style design, these sleeping pods are compact, private spaces that offer pilgrims a clean and peaceful place to rest.
Each pod will have an air conditioner to keep warm during the season. Plus, the ventilation system ensures fresh air inside the pod at all times. The essentials – like a mirror, mobile charging point, a soft bed with a clean mattress and a quilt – will be present in every pod.
To make sure they’re budget-friendly, the sleeping pods offer shared bathrooms, which are included in the rental price. These sleeping pods will be strategically placed throughout the Kumbh Mela grounds to ensure easy access to key locations.
Ganga Expressway will be finished before the madness of Maha Kumbh begins. Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi has directed Uttar Pradesh Expressway Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) officials to expedite the construction of Ganga Expressway so that it can be made convenient for the travelers visiting the fair.
