Here’s how devotees can order Mahaprasad at home.
Mahakumbh is one of the largest religious gatherings in the world, held in India every 12 years. Amid the Maha Kumbh Mela, which runs from January 13 to February 26, lakhs of devotees are traveling to Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh to participate in the religious festival and take a dip in the holy waters of Triveni Sangam. Despite the incredible turnout, many devotees are unable to attend the spiritual event due to various reasons. However, they can now place orders for Mahaprasad from the holy cities of Prayagraj, Ayodhya and Varanasi.
Food delivery app Vayu has partnered with Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) to deliver over 1.5 crore Mahaprasad orders for Mahakumbh 2025. According to the app, devotees will receive Mahaprasad within seven days of placing their order.
Passengers passing through Prayagraj Railway Station can also receive Mahaprasad directly during transit. Offerings from Prayagraj and Ayodhya are currently available on Vayu and ONDC buyer app, Varanasi will also be available soon.

The Mahaprasad of Pure (Pure) Desi Ghee Besan Laddu will be freshly prepared in Prayagraj, Ayodhya and Varanasi, following traditional methods and high standards of hygiene. The eco-friendly, plastic-free packaging is in line with the sustainability goals of the Maha Kumbh.
Vayu has partnered with logistics providers including Delhivery, Bluedart, Amazon Shipping, Shiprocket and India Post to ensure seamless delivery across 19,000 serviceable pin codes across India.
Meanwhile, lakhs of devotees took a holy dip in the Triveni Sangam on Tuesday morning on the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti, the first ‘Amrit Snan’ of Maha Kumbh 2025.
