It’s disappointing, isn’t it? But don’t worry, we’ve got you. We found a super simple hack that will make this task easier.
Thanks to a viral Instagram video from digital creator Deepti Kapoor, you can now make makki ki roti without breaking a sweat – or kneading dough. device? Aluminum foil and a plate. Sounds simple, right? That’s because it is! Here’s what you do: Take two large squares of aluminum foil. Place your dough ball in the center of one square, cover with another and press down on a plate. Gently fold the plate while pressing to flatten the dough evenly. Just make sure you don’t overdo it with the pressure, otherwise you’ll end up with paper-thin loaves.
