As a measles spreads across the US, doctors are now being warned of an unexpected health risk – the covenant in Lubock, Texas is getting sick from consuming too much vitamin A in children’s hospital, many unnatural children have shown symptoms of liver problems after taking high doses of vitamin A, Dr. According to Lara Johnson, according to the Chief Medical Officer of the hospital.
Vitamin A: Not an option for MMR vaccine
During the outbreak, the US Health Department and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Junior has promoted vitamin A, even suggesting that it can help prevent measles. However, medical experts strongly disagree.
“If people accidentally believe that they have either either either either liked between MMR vaccine and vitamin A, then we will see a lot of children disrespectfully infected with measles.
Hotz also indicated another major issue- high dose without irregular use of vitamin A, without proper medical supervision, excessive intake can cause serious health problems.
Measles, Kanthamala, and rubella (MMR) remains the only proven way to stop the vaccine measles. The Disease Control and Prevention Center (CDC) states that the vaccine is 97 percent effective after two doses. Kennedy said that he supports vaccines, believes that vaccination should be a personal option.
Danger of too much vitamin
Vitamin A can be beneficial if given in the correct dose by the Health Service professional. It is sometimes used to help manage measles symptoms. However, overconsuration – especially without medical oversight – can be dangerous.
Since vitamin A is soluble in fat, it accumulates in the body, causing possible side effects such as:
blurry vision
Bone issues
Liver damage
In pregnant women, excessive vitamin A intake can also cause birth defects.
A pediatrician of Lubock, Dr. Leslie Mother emphasized that children in Texas are usually well nurtured and do not require additional vitamin A supplements. “If vitamin A toxicity is caught quickly, the recovery may occur rapidly once the supplementation stops. Unfortunately, some more serious effects are not always reversible,” he explained.
Warning from experts and supplementary manufacturers
The council has also urged parents to be vigilant for responsible nutrition (CRN), representing supplementary manufacturers.
“Vitamin A plays an important role in immune function, but there is no scientific evidence that it prevents measles infection. The use of high-khurak vitamin A is particularly related to children,” CRN said.
Dr. Johnson believes that some parents are following misleading advice from social media and wellness affected, which often reduce the importance of vaccines and promote unproven measures such as ivermectin, hydroxychicwine and high-cost vitamin A.
Hotz echoed this anxiety, saying, “It is bothering to see the wellness industry, reducing the vaccine and pushes these so -called treatment.”
Outbreak of ongoing measles
The current measles outbreak has already affected at least 378 people in 17 states, including Texas, New Mexico, Vermont, New York and Washington.
Despite the increase in cases, Kennedy has continued to promote a treatment plan related to vitamin A, a steroid, an antibiotic and cod liver oil. However, medical experts emphasize that there is no scientific evidence supporting this approach.
