Mira Kapoor’s weekend feasts rule our hearts. Although she often gives food updates on Instagram, her weekend-special cooking sessions have a different feel to them. On Saturday (January 17), Mira ate nutritious home-made food, Parsi vegetarian Bhonu. FYI: Bhonu refers to a feast in Gujarati. Parsi Bhonu is a traditional food consisting of a mixture of Parsi dishes that is rich in flavour. Mira posted a picture of the delicious spread on her Instagram Stories. Toor dal, veg cutlet, mashed potatoes, fenugreek peas and potato curry were placed on banana leaves.
Oh wait, there’s more. The menu also had a bowl of tomato chutney, brinjal pickle and carrot mewa nu pickle. The delicious items were paired with rotli. The vegetarian Parsi Bhonu was prepared by Mira Kapoor’s friends Danish Dawar and Sohrab Khushrushahi. Its side note read, “Parsi Veg Bhonu is available, courtesy of Fitters.” Absolutely drool worthy.

It seems Mira Kapoor has a special fondness for Parsi cuisine. Earlier, for Sunday breakfast with his girl gang, the entrepreneur enjoyed Parsi Bhonu (again). His friends made the Pak Sunday outing even more fun. Sharing a picture of the delicious meal on Instagram, Mira wrote, “Parsi Bhonu (Parsi feast) with Coopers. And yes, there was a whole vegetable spread.” As for the dishes, there was a plate of freshly cooked biryani and what appeared to be fried potatoes. About a week ago, Mira Kapoor was in Delhi, enjoying the chilly weather of the national capital. She gave fans a glimpse of her dinner which included a plate of delicious mooli ka paratha and a big dollop of butter. Of course, parathas are a winter delicacy and a trip to Delhi is incomplete without the iconic butter-paratha combo. “Dinner tomorrow night.
