I saw countless pictures of Nukkad Cafe and Bar on social media, and the curiosity finally got the best. My first trip was a delightful mix of good food, lively decoration and a vibrant environment. But this was my second journey that actually sealed the deal – food, service, and even cocktails were better than before!
Step in Nukkad Cafe & Bar felt that walking directly in a 90s Bollywood film. Showing the iconic film posters and dialogues with Kailash Colony outlet, its bizarre decoration, twinkling fairy lights, and wall plates, I was immediately taken back to the golden age of Indian cinema. It was a true court setting, which was a combination of apathy with the fun of modern day, making it a heaven equally for Bollywood lovers and enthusiasts of Instagram.
Food and Drink: A desi punch with a fusion feast
Nukkad’s menu is a fusion lover’s dream – classic Indian cuisine is the most unpredictable yet delicious ways. The one who really won me was cocktail, every bold Indian spices that complemented my food completely.
Nukkad Malabar Sour – A desi classic bourbon whiskey is rich in sour, spices and depths. It was my favorite below.
Desi Jugaad – A gin -based cocktail with spicy infections that packed a punch.
Multani Gosht Tacos – Juicy, well -experienced mutton wrapped in soft tacos, blames Indian and Mexican tastes.
Chicken Stemed Momos – Momo is served with a effort, soft, flavored, and a killer needle sauce for lovers.
Rava Fish Fry – Crispy, Golden Purnace that reminded me of authentic coastal dishes.
Miss only? Mixed sauce veg pasta – it was civilized but there was a shortage of wow factor. However, with live music and overall vibe on the roof, it rarely matured.
Environment and Experience: Nostalgia wrapped in music and lights
Nukkad’s experience is not just about food. Cafe’s playlist is a throbac for the best Bollywood hits, which enhances the indifferentness factor. On my second trip, I sat on the roof, where the combination of live music, fairy lights and vibrant decorations felt additional special in the evening.
Worth again and again
