Last month, Swiggy Instamart attracted attention when a woman was surprised to get free Dhania with her order. Twist? Dhania came with a rose bouquet, which was gifted to him by his partner. Sharing the bizarre moment on X (East Twitter), the woman wrote, “She sent me flowers and Swiggi sent free richness with that brother, why would I need it?”

He also posted two photos – showing a swiggi instamart page, where the bouquet was added to the cart with “free” coriander leaves daily, and another bouquet was placed next to the unpredictable Dhanya. The reactions for the post were cheerful. Click here to read lol comments.

Earlier, another swiggy Instamart user took X to complain about free tomatoes in his car without his consent. Calling it a “basket secret” and a “dark pattern”, he argued that customers should have the option to accept or reject free items. Expressing disappointment, he wrote, “Very poor design in Swigy Instamart, where an item is automatically added to my car. I do not want tomatoes, but I can’t remove it from my car. Even if I am not paying for it, this basket is secretly which is a dark pattern. “There is a whole story here.
