In a significant progress towards sustainable tourism, Rajasthan has launched India’s first luxury electric cruise at a sightseeing spot Ana Sagar LakeThis eco-friendly venture, a joint effort of JP Dadhich and Goa-based Board Craft Pvt Ltd, will definitely be a bucket list experience, especially in the desert state.
According to reports, the 22-meter double-decker ship made of lightweight fiber is a marvel of engineering. It offers a luxurious experience with air-conditioned and open-air decks, accommodating up to 150 passengers divided into two levels.

But what makes this cruise unique is the element of sustainability. Powered by batteries and equipped with bio-toilets, it emits no harmful pollutants. Future plans include integrating solar panels to further enhance its eco-friendliness. All about Ana Sagar Lake
is located in AjmerAna Sagar Lake was built by Prithviraj Chauhan’s grandfather Arnoraja in 1135 -1150 AD and is named after him. Mughal emperor Jahangir built the Daulat Bagh garden next to the lake, while Shah Jahan built five pavilions, known as Baradari, between the garden and the water body. Today, the lake is an important attraction of the city, attracting both locals and tourists.
