In the summer season, ice cream and kulfi are most liked. Kulfi is a classic dessert that is served on everything from regular days to weddings and parties. A creamy kulfi with taste of dried fruits is always a hit. Traditionally, Kulfi is made from a mixture of milk, cream, khoya and sugar. But thanks to its popularity, many varieties are now available. Matka Kulfi, Rabri Kulfi and Badam Kulfi are quite famous. This time, we bring you a special recipe for rose kulfi to try this summer. Its cute pink color will hold your eye, and the taste of delightful rose is sure to win your heart.

What is Gulab Kulfi made of?

To make rose kulfi, full -fat milk is well cooked. Cashew or almond paste is added to it. Once a thick mixture is formed, sugar and chopped dried fruits are mixed and the mixture is allowed to cool. Then, rose petals, rose syrup and rose water are added. The mixture is inserted into the molds and frozen until it is set.

Rose Kulfi: Step by step recipe

First milk

Boil 1 liter full-cream milk in a pan. Meanwhile, prepare a paste of soaked cashews.

Use cashews for a creamy texture

Once the milk is boiled, reduce the heat and stir in the cashew paste. Keep stirring to prevent sticking.

Add dried fruits to additional crunch

Cook the mixture for 10 minutes, then add finely chopped almonds and pistachios. Cook for a few more seconds. Add sugar to taste.

Continue stirring to dissolve the sugar. The mixture will start to become thick. Once reduced by half, turn off the heat and let it cool down completely.

Rose syrup time

When cooled, add 2 tablespoons of rose syrup, 1 teaspoon rose water and some rose petals. mix well. If you are desired, you can also add a drop of color of pink food at this level.

Freeze it completely

Insert the mixture into kulfi molds, seal them well, and freeze for 7 to 8 hours. Once frozen, enjoy the treatment of this delicious summer!
