Rugby Club hosted Mental Health Day for students

More than 300 children from many primary schools have participated in a rugby club in Mental Health Day.
The BBC Radio Northampton Headfast Event gave children a chance to learn, relax and move forward.
The activities consisted of yoga, horticulture and music therapy, as well as sports workshops organized by Northampton Saints and Northampton Town Football Club.
Blue Peter presenter Joel Mawani, who participated, said: âSuch incidents are really important to give a head-up what you can do if you find yourself in a difficult situation.â

Mawhinney, who participated in the BBC Moodboosters session, became the 41st presenter of the BBC Childrenâs Program in 2022 at the age of 25.
He said, âI was already talking to a friend, thinking how difficult it should be now, because it is completely different when I was a child, not long ago,â he said.
âIt has moved forward so fast with technology and social media and there are many other aspects that these people are going to worry about that we might not have to do it.â

Zoologist and Wildlife Presenter Yussef Rafik, who is known for presenting the BBC Earth Kids Show Bugfes, helped to take Bug Hunts to the Service Franklinâs Garden Stadium at Fridayâs event.
He said: âI am quite emotional about nature, not as a treatment for mental health, but as a way to compete and it certainly helps itself â and I love insects and children love it, so a without hunting is a without hunting.â

Pupils of Kogenho Primary School participated in the headfest event âfor the last few yearsâ.
He said that the schools had a responsibility to take responsibility for teaching studentsâ strategies when they felt worried and overwhelmed.
He said, âAnd to create their flexibility and self -esteem, which is clearly a skill they need for life, to flourish in the world in which we live,â she said.
Anna Bartlett, executive producer of BBC Radio Northampton, explained why the radio station organized the event.
He said: âNHS tells us that one of the five to 16 years of children is a mental health challenge, so we know that it is really important that it needs to be addressed.â
