Shilpa Shetty Kundra is a foodie herself and she has once again shared her latest culinary experience on Instagram. This time, the object of his affection was a traditional thali from Bhubaneswar. Known for sharing her delicious dishes with her followers, Shilpa didn’t hold back as she offered a delightful glimpse of the local flavors she is enjoying on her current trip. In her latest Instagram Stories, Shilpa shared an elaborate thali on top of a beautifully laid table, capturing the essence of Odisha’s rich culinary heritage. The glasses were kept face down on the table and a napkin was neatly arranged. The thali itself was a feast for the senses.

Centered around a bowl of rice, the plate included an array of authentic Bhubaneswar dishes. There was a bowl of fish curry, two pieces of brinjal fry, fresh salad and a bowl of yellow dal. The spread also included what looked like rich mutton curry and soybean/kofta curry, along with other traditional local dishes. To complement the meal, Shilpa Shetty also enjoyed a refreshing glass of buttermilk garnished with nuts. To summarize her experience, Shilpa added hashtags like “thalifans”, “yummy” and “bhuvanswardiaries”.

Shilpa Shetty is really a fan of thali! Last month, she thrilled her Instagram followers by sharing her foodie adventures at ITC Grand Central in Mumbai, where she enjoyed a traditional South Indian vegetarian thali. Their meal, served on a banana leaf, included flaky Malabar Parotta, steamed rice, sambar, plain yellow dal, vegetable stew and poriyal. They concluded the feast with Andhra style spicy curd (majjiga charu), chutney and crunchy papad. Read more here.

Earlier, Shilpa Shetty had delighted her Instagram followers with a picture of herself enjoying what she called the “best mewar thali”. The thali contained a variety of dishes: roti, rice, mixed papad, turmeric curry, curry, bhatuve ki saag, soybean mince, cauliflower pakodas in curry, matar pulao, green grass roti, corn roti and phulka. He enjoyed the green grass bread and said “Wah Wah Wah” in appreciation. Read more.
