Salugara Monastery

This famous monastery houses a massive 110 feet tall stupa – which was built by Tibetan Lama Kalu Rinpoche. It is also known as Tashi Homang Stupa. This Buddhist temple houses about 5 Buddhist relics and is a place of meditation and prayer. There is a popular and ancient belief about the monastery that the hills around it protect it.

Bengal Safari Park

Bengal Safari Park is located inside the forest area of ​​the Mahananda Wildlife Safari Sanctuary. It is one of the first animal safari parks in Bengal, spread over 297 hectares with diverse flora and fauna. On your trip, you can enjoy seeing wildlife creatures like Royal Bengal tiger, leopard, bear, sambar deer, fawn, sloth bear, Himalayan black bear, leopard, gaur, civet, wild boar, rhinoceros and spotted deer.
