The District Medical and Health Officer said that both adults and children have been affected, and the risk of such toxicity usually increases from April to October during the monsoon season, when wild mushrooms in the area grow abundantly.
Experts say that the main cause of mushroom poisoning is the accidental consumption of toxic mushrooms, which are attained to foods in size, size and color.
