Bhagyashree often helps us when we are in food related dilemma. If your New Year’s resolution includes paying extra attention to your diet, the veteran actress has some valuable advice for you. In an Instagram post, Bhagyashree shared information about maintaining a healthy lifestyle. In the clip, she emphasizes the importance of listening to your body. Bhagyashree explains that our body sends “signals” to tell us when we are lacking nutrients or when something is not working properly. You just need to understand those signs.

The video begins with Bhagyashree addressing minor muscle contractions, also known as nerve twitches. According to him, magnesium deficiency is the cause of these twitches, especially in the eyes or legs. To deal with this problem, she suggests including almonds, sunflower seeds and spinach in your daily diet.

Do you often feel irritable and angry? Bhagyashree warned that this could be a sign of Vitamin B deficiency. To solve this, she recommends eating kidney beans, chickpeas and peanuts.

Next, Bhagyashree offers the perfect solution for brittle nails, which are often caused by iron deficiency. She recommends consuming adequate amounts of spinach, beetroot and jaggery. She also suggests including bananas, coconut water and potatoes in your daily diet, as these are rich in potassium.

Earlier, Bhagyashree had highlighted the importance of a special type of millet, known as amaranth or Rajgira. According to them, amaranth is rich in vitamins and minerals like “potassium, magnesium manganese, choline and lysine which helps in absorbing calcium to build strong bones.” “It also contains iron and folate which is great for pregnant women as well as lactating mothers and it is the only millet that contains protein for muscle building,” said Bhagyashree.
