With air pollution levels reaching dangerous levels, Delhi-NCR residents are grappling with health problems caused by poor air quality. Prolonged exposure to such air quality can lead to serious long-term health problems, from respiratory problems to chronic inflammation. The risk is especially high for daily commuters, office workers, children and senior citizens, all of whom are vulnerable to the effects of pollution. But don’t worry – now you can cope with a simple, nutrient-dense diet immunity boosting shotApproved by nutritionist Palak Nagpal.
In a recent Instagram video, she shared an easy-to-make “anti-inflammatory immunity-boosting shot” that can be prepared in bulk and enjoyed throughout the week. In her video, she explains that one of her customers, who has a nine to five job, asked for the best way to deal with inflammation caused by pollution and boost immunity. Solution? A combination of powerful, natural ingredients known for their immunity-boosting and anti-inflammatory properties.
“Winter is here and so is pollution, but don’t let it take a toll on your health!” Nagpal writes in her Instagram caption. “This easy ginger, orange and amla cube is packed with anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting properties.”
Step-by-step recipe
Nagpal’s recipe for the immunity shot includes only three main ingredients: ginger, orange and amla. Here’s how to prepare the shot:
-Take a big piece of ginger – peel it and cut it into pieces.
– Peel an orange – Oranges are rich in vitamin C, which is known to boost immunity.
– Peel 3-4 Amla – Amla is rich in antioxidants and Vitamin C, which further boosts immune function.
– Blend all the ingredients – Add the chopped ginger, orange and amla to a blender, along with enough water to submerge them. Mix the mixture well.
– Strain the mixture – Strain the mixture to remove pulp and juice.
– Freeze the juice – Pour the liquid into an ice cube tray and freeze the cubes.
Once frozen, these cubes can be stored and used throughout the week. Every morning, simply add one cube to a cup of hot water, stir and sip. The result is a warming, immune-boosting beverage that fights inflammation, helps detoxify the body, and supports overall immune function.
“It’s the easiest way to fight inflammation and support your immunity on busy days. Prep once and enjoy all week long!” Nagpal tells in her video. The simplicity of the recipe makes it easy to implement into a busy schedule, especially for working professionals or parents who may not have time to make fresh health shots every day.
