India has emerged as one of Thailand’s key source markets in recent years and TAT aims to establish Thailand as a top travel destination by leveraging Sonu Sood’s wide appeal among Indian travellers, especially when more Indians looking for international holidays. Thailand is already a favorite among Indian tourists, known for its spectacular beaches, rich cultural heritage, vibrant nightlife and delicious cuisine.

Thailand now visa free for Indians indefinitely
Thailand has extended its visa-free entry policy for Indian travellers, which was initially scheduled to end on November 11, 2024. According to Thailand’s Ministry of Tourism, Indian tourists can now enjoy a visa-free stay of up to 60 days with one option. To extend their stay for an additional 30 days.
This new policy is part of Thailand’s efforts to promote tourism. Previously, obtaining a Thai visa involved fees and paperwork, but the removal of these requirements has led to a surge in Indian tourists – about 16.17 million tourists visited between January and mid-October this year.
