American Country Star Colt Ford says that he does not remember the day he had a life-threatening heart attack, which took place a few days after he went to a clinic for full-body checkup.

Ford and his band performed in Arizona last year when he fell on stage as soon as the show started, but the 55 -year -old says he has no memory of it. He does not even remember the later moments of the show, when he returned to the tour bus and collapsed. “One of my people have already slipped to the bus and I have already slipped,” told CBS News.

At the hospital, Ford performed ten hours long complex surgery, where he also twice in flat-line. Doctors had to keep their hearts in shock so that it could be brought back into the heartbeat. After his surgery, Ford was shifted to the Mayo Clinic, where he was kept in a medically induced coma for eight days and the extrachorporial membrane was placed on oxygenation, or ECMO, a form of machine support that helps in heart and lungs.

Bachera had no symptoms of heart attack

Ford says that he did not experience any symptoms of a heart attack – not even chest pain.

He said, “I had done a check-up before the tour, which had no problem,” he said. “I recently lost weight and I thought I was in good shape,” Ford said.
