A guest was shocked after attending a family friend’s wedding, where guests were treated differently based on their “wealth.” The anonymous Reddit user shared his experience on the @r/weddingshaming page. The user reported that the groom is from an “extremely rich family that paid for the wedding”. However, the groom only accepted the money and the family was not involved in the wedding preparations. Elaborating on the poor arrangements, the guest revealed that after the wedding ceremony, they partied “for an hour in the hot sun, with an open bar for about 150 guests and a bartender with not a single hors d’ Owerre is not being pushed around.”
But the shocking part is yet to come. Talking about the dinner arrangements, the guest wrote, “We then enter a large plastic tent, where dinner takes place in the heat of summer at about 3 pm, when the sun is still very hot There is only one door for ventilation.”

However, he felt humiliated when he learned that the “very wealthy” guests at the wedding were given “profuse and high-quality bottles of wine, scotch, tequila and much food.”
Additionally, there was no dessert at the end of the night, “just Oreo boxes and a table of sliced apples.” The guest revealed that “the groom’s mother had tears in her eyes because she was embarrassed by how most of the guests were treated.”
