The end of an era for Golden Gate and Sydney Harbor is the inauguration of the worldâs highest bridge in June as China. Huajiang Grand Canyon Bride is currently completing its final stage of construction and is no less than an architectural surprise.
The bridge, which is a will for modern engineering, reflects Chinaâs dedication to the development of infrastructure. Speaking to the media, Chief Engineer Zhang Shenglin said, âThis super project will become a historically a historic to showcase the power of Chinaâs infrastructure.â
For Anward, it is going to be a steel truss suspension bridge and is 9,482 feet in total length. Its main period is 4,660 feet long and is supported by two long towers. It is designed in a way to reduce environmental impact, using a slim-profile design that has 93 steel truss segments that weigh around 22,000 tonnes.

Another great feature is that the bridge will significantly reduce the time of travel â directly from one hour to just one minute. With better travel efficiency, there will be a boost in regional development â especially in low developed areas.
In other news, China has already completed eight of the ten tallest bridges in the world â pointing to the development of its rapid infrastructure. Therefore, this is not just a transport process â it is a catalyst for economic development.
Zhang Shenglin, Chief Engineer of Guizhou Highway Group, spoke to the local media about the progress of the bridge. He said, âCurrently, the overall progress of the bridge has reached 95%, and it is planned to be opened for traffic in the second half of 2025. Till then, this super project that spreadsâ Prithvi Crack â, will be the first in the world in both directions. It will become another historical project to showcase Chinaâs weaving strength.â
