Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemu never left a chance to indulge in good food. In February, Soha gave a glimpse of her Herath celebrations, which were all about delicious traditional cuisine. For those unfamiliar people, Herath – also known as Hara’s night – is an important festival for Kashmiri Pandits, which marks the divine association of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
Kunal celebrated the opportunity with his family and Soha shared a video on her Instagram stories to woo food lovers with a special Herath feast. The Thali had a warm serving of rice with Paneer Gravy, Nadru (Lotus Stem) and Kashmiri-style sour bingan. This included a type of spinach grown in Elle Yakhani (Bottle Gaur in Curd) and Hak, Hak, Kashmir. Pickle and chopped muli (radish) added the correct finishing touch.
The food was prepared by Kunal’s mother, Jyoti Kemu and Soha, but it could not help, but could appreciate it. The actress wrote, “What a mile. Herrath Mubarak.” Click here for the whole story.
