Digital travel platform Agoda has released its latest list of the most affordable destinations for travelers looking for budget-friendly vacations in Asia. With several long weekends and holidays in August and September, including India’s Raksha Bandhan and Independence Day, Agoda’s data reveals which are the best places to stretch your travel bucks.
Hat Yai, Thailand topped the list as the most affordable destination in Asia for this period, offering travellers the best value for their money. Goa With an average room rate of Rs. 5,538 based on bookings between June 15 and July 7, 2024, it has emerged as the most budget-friendly option in the country. This marks a shift from Bengaluru, which previously held this title.
The full list of the most affordable destinations in nine Asian markets from August 15 to September 30 includes:
- Hat Yai, Thailand
- Yogyakarta, Indonesia
- Kuching, Malaysia
- Siargao Island, Philippines
- Dalat, Vietnam
- Narita, Japan
- Goa, India
- Taichung, Taiwan
- Busan, South Korea
These destinations offer travelers the opportunity to explore new places without spending a lot.
