It is very easy to make this delicious garlic semolina roll. This recipe has been shared by content creator @bristihomekitchen on Instagram. To make it:
1. Prepare semolina batter
Add semolina and wheat flour to a blender jar. Blend it for a minute to make a fine powder. Now add curd and water and blend again. Take out the mixture in a bowl and add more water to it. Mix well, cover the bowl and leave for 5 minutes.
2. Make garlic stuffing
– Put peanuts in a pan and fry them. Now add oil, garlic cloves and dry red chilli. Fry them until they become aromatic. Add the other ingredients – grated dry coconut, white sesame seeds and salt – and mix well. Grind the ingredients and make a coarse powder.
3. Steam Suji Rolls
Pour water into a steamer and place a stand inside it. – Cover and let the water heat. Add salt, cumin, red chilli pieces and chopped coriander to the semolina solution. mix well. – Grease a plate with oil, pour semolina batter into it and spread it thinly all around. Keep the plate in the pan to cook for 3 minutes.
4. Assemble the Rolls
After 3-4 minutes, remove the cooked layer from the plate. Spread the garlic stuffing on the steamed crust, cut the roll into small pieces and enjoy!
