How does an emotional eating cause fertility?
Hormonal imbalance: Emotional food, especially which include foods that are high in sugar, calories, sodium and unhealthy fats, can cause insulin resistance. High insulin levels in the body can negatively inhibit the production of reproductive hormones. It can highly affect ovulation can either irregular it or stop it completely.
- Rawness: Emotional eating can often increase excessive weight, which can lead to more weight easily. Obesity is associated with infertility due to additional production of estrogen. Women who are diagnosed with PCOS are more likely to experience irregularities in their menstrual cycle, ovarian ulcers, and also have difficulty in conceiving even after continuous efforts due to unbalanced hormones.
