drink fresh fruit juice This may seem like an ideal choice for your health but this is not necessarily the correct assessment. Of course, there are some positive aspects to drinking fruit juice — starting with a list of vitamins and nutrients that fill every glass. But even 100% fruit juice has the same amount of sugar as a soda drink.
Dr Rahul BaxiIndia’s top diabetes expert appeared on The Ranveer Show, where he discussed various things – including the harms of fruit juice.
He explains, “Even when you think it’s homemade fruit juice without sugar, it’s not that good. Homemade fruit juice without sugar is still nothing but sugar water. ”
But how? Let’s break it down for you!
“I allow fruits and encourage my patients to eat one or two fruits daily. But don’t drink juice after today,” explains Dr. Rahul. He continued, “So how many oranges are used to make a glass of juice? 5-6 easily? What you’re doing here is you extract the juice and throw away all the fiber, making it a harmful option.” And to top it all, you get to drink sweet water within minutes.”
Then he asks if people can eat 6 oranges at once? no way!
This is why it is advised to eat only fruits instead of fruit juice. Also, it is important for people to understand that drinking fruit juice is not the same as eating the whole fruit. Some of the wonderful benefits of fruits disappear during the juicing process. The biggest disadvantage is the amount of fiber. Whole fruit leaves you feeling more full than juice.
Many types of fruits are rich in natural sugars – which is why fruits are often called “nature’s candy.” When you make juice from that fruit, you concentrate that sugar into a highly drinkable beverage.
