Highlights

  • Food manufacturers often follow popular templates in their recipes
  • There are many videos that start with, “This is your sign…”
  • A vlogger recently shared a reel that gives it an “unhealthy” twist

Food content creators often follow viral trends and popular templates when sharing recipes. You’ve probably seen videos where they start with “This is a tip for you to make…” and then they show a unique dish or a healthy technique. Recently, a vlogger shared a reel that became a kind of mockery of this format. Instead of the expected healthy recipe or nutritious treat, the vlogger decided to make a scrumptious combination of different sweets.

In the video by @anshxhuman, the vlogger begins by saying, “This is your cue to make a chocolate salad bowl.” He opens packets of famous international brands of chocolates and empties their contents into a bowl. He uses M&Ms, Hershey’s White Chocolate, Toblerone, Maltesers, Twix, Loacker’s Crispy Wafer Cubes and Ferrero Rocher. Those whose bars are longer are broken into pieces by hand and added to the rest. He ‘mixes’ them with a small spoon. Wondering what her reaction was? Watch below:

The video has garnered over 2 million views so far. In the comments, many felt it should be called something like “Diabetes Bowl”. Since the vlogger’s bio states that he is an MBBS student, one user commented, “Brother is creating more patients for himself in the future.” Read some other reactions below:

“Who said salads have to be healthy?”

“Chocolate comes from cocoa beans that grow on trees, which is a plant, so he’s eating the plant! It’s actually a salad!”

“He made me feel poor in every language.”

“The chocolates in the bowl are more expensive than my bank balance.”

“The OG gems are missing.”

“Shall we put ice cream on top?”

“I got diabetes just from watching this reel.”

“It’s the only salad I can happily eat.”
