A few days ago, a video showing Sushi “crawling” went viral on social media. In the reel, we first see what appears to be a regular plate of sushi. At the next glance, the ‘food’ begins to move and turns into a creature with eyes and legs. He looks around and then crawls out of the plate. It received millions of views on Instagram and mainly negative reactions. Just recently, another post following the same trend has taken the platform by storm. It has received more than 250 million views so far!

This reel was also posted by artist and Instagram user @tarek.em. First we see a plate with a long roti with pieces cut in the middle and a round roti on it. The folds/rolls on the top of the round roti move and the roti ‘transforms’ into two scary cute creatures. Watch the full video below:
