But first, let us see how to do this asana correctly.
- Come into a tabletop position, lower your arms, and balance your shoulders over your elbows.
- Then, place your palm on the ground and spread your fingers. Press into your armpits and don’t bend your elbows outward. Focus on a point between your index finger and thumb.
- Then, press into the floor with your forearms, turn your toes inward, lift your hips up, and move your toes toward your elbows.
- Start by lifting one leg up and bending the other. Then, push your body away from the floor by jumping. Then, move both legs over your head and balance your body using your forearms.
- You can press your shoulders and forearms to improve your posture. Keep your thighs close to each other.
- Then, begin to slide the backs of your legs and hips forward and bring them in line with your shoulders. At this point, your chest bone should be perpendicular to the ground.
- Bend your knees and move your focus beyond that imaginary point. Make sure you don’t feel pressure on your muscles while deepening the spine. If you feel intense pressure or any kind of pull, you can come out.
- Take a deep breath and try to maintain this yoga posture for a few seconds.
