Indian street food is much more than aloo tikki and vada pav. While everyone loves these popular classics, there are also some delectable Indian street foods that not everyone might know about. In her latest Instagram video, Australian celebrity chef Sarah Todd has shared an âincredibleâ foodie from the streets of Jammu. âThis is why I came to Jammu â Kalari Paneer,â she says in the video. Kalari Paneer is prepared from buffalo milk and is often called the âMozzarella of Jammuâ.
This lokal is pan-fried until it forms a crisp, golden crust and remains gooey and springy on the inside. The chef explains that the cheese is served in Jammuâs kulcha, which, unlike typical North Indian flatbreads, is fluffy and pillowy. She adds that loaded with onions, grilled kalari and spicy chutney, each bite is an explosion of taste and texture that is impossible to resist.
