Traveling to Paris, France for the 2024 Olympics, the 36-year-old retired NFL player — wearing a beret and American-themed apparel — took the opportunity to face Team USA rugby player Nicole Heavirland in a classic arm-wrestling battle.
In the video posted by Hevirland, 29, on Sunday, the two are counted out by onlookers and then fight to the death for their respective bragging rights. The clip shows the footballer and the rugby professional in a standoff for several seconds (with Jason holding onto a table for support), before Jason eventually pins Hevirland’s arm down.
“@jason.kelce holding that table a bit? 🤣,” she captioned the hilarious Instagram reel, to which Jason responded, “Holding something with your left hand is totally within the rules of the International Federation of Arm Wrestling.”
In the comments, fans and followers expressed their opinions on the incredible sports mashup and pointed out that Heaviland really deserves the title of the match.
