Abhishek’s fitness journey started during his first year of college. “I was tired of being the skinny guy,” he shares. “I wanted to be someone who felt strong and confident in her own skin. That’s when I decided to focus on gaining weight and muscle. ,
Over the next two years, Abhishek followed a structured bulking plan, gaining 30 kg and building a foundation of strength and muscle. “The bulking phase wasn’t just about eating more; It was about eating right and pushing myself in the gym every day,” he explains.
But his journey did not end there. Once he was satisfied with his muscle development, Abhishek started focusing on his shedding phase – a vital step in preparation for the ICN Natural Bodybuilding competition.

Two stages, the transformation of a golubshek can be broken down into two major stages:
– Bulking Phase (2 years): “This was where I focused on gaining size and strength. I worked hard in the gym and fueled my body with the right nutrients to build muscle,” he says.
– Shredding Phase (100 days): Under the guidance of his coach, Bala Sir from FITTR, and his team, Abhishek transformed his physique, dropping his body fat percentage from 13 percent to an impressive 6 percent. “I went from weighing 75 kg to 65 kg while maintaining muscle. It was intense, but the results were worth it. ,
Challenges and failure
Abhishek admits that his transformation was not without its struggles. “The last four weeks of my shredding phase were brutal,” he says. “My calorie intake was just under 1,200 a day, and I had to juggle strength training, cardio and 10,000 daily steps. There were days when it felt almost impossible, but I kept going. ,
Despite the discomfort, Abhishek used the challenges as motivation. “Those difficult moments built my character. He taught me discipline and resilience. By the end of it, I felt like a warrior,” he shares.
Diet and training tips
When it comes to his transformation, Abhishek credits a combination of strict dieting and a consistent workout routine:
Diet plan: “I started my diet at 2,800 calories and gradually reduced it to 1,200 calories in the final weeks before the competition,” he explains.
Training Routine: His training included six days of strength workouts with a focus on his delts, back, and triceps. He also incorporated 20 minutes of cardio daily and ensured that he walked 10,000 steps each day.

Abishek kept going through the most challenging days? “The vision of myself on that bodybuilding stage,” he says. “That image of me with a chiseled physique, representing my hard work and dedication, was all the motivation I needed.”
