What happens when you eat 16,000 calories of ultra-processed food in 48 hours? A YouTuber tried it and was amazed!

Will Tennyson was surprised to learn how these foods can change not only your physical health, but also your mental health

A fitness YouTuber recently filmed a nearly 50-hour fast food marathon while documenting the various consequences of eating ultra-processed foods. 30-year-old Canadian fitness and lifestyle social media influencer Will Tennyson was shocked to learn how these foods can change not only your physical health, but mental health as well.

What did Tennyson eat?

Tennyson ate a variety of fast foods and snacks, including ultra-processed ones filled with coloring agents, artificial sweeteners and preservatives – pizza, sugary cocktails, burgers breads, cereals and some yogurt.
After the end of the first day, Tennyson, whose viral video has received more than 5.3 million views, said he consumed at least 8,000 calories — more than three times his normal amount. They then reported negative effects on their overall energy levels and mental state.
Experts say ultra-processed foods make up the majority of average diets around the world and cause serious health problems – especially among youth with sedentary lifestyles.
Tennyson also said that he found a video game console while eating snacks throughout the day, however, he felt ‘shaky’ at the end. According to experts, it’s easy to distract yourself while playing on a computer or mobile phone “and suddenly you’ve eaten 3,000 calories,” Tennyson said during filming on his YouTube channel.

What happened the next day?

The next day, Tennyson made a shocking confession: “Somehow despite tripling my calories I am more malnourished than ever.” The YouTuber said that in just 24 hours, spots appeared on his face. “I can practically make my own fries with oil on my forehead,” before revealing: “My muscles go numb, and I feel a little depressed.”
Tennyson also recorded only walking about 4,000 steps a day, which is much lower than normal, as health experts recommend that people take at least 10,000 steps a day to improve their well-being.
Unmotivated and lethargic the next day, he completed the 50-hour challenge by eating his leftover pizza and some sushi. On the morning of the third day, he said, “Just got back from the gym and it was horrible. I was sweating more than ever, I don’t even know if it was sweat or oil. The point was to show people he said.” , “Unhealthy habits not only affect your looks, but they also affect your overall health, your mood, your happiness, your motivation, your drive.”

What are ultra-processed foods? And how do they affect your health?

According to Harvard Health, some foods are highly processed or ultra-processed because they are loaded with added ingredients like sugar, salt, fat, and artificial colors or preservatives. Ultra-processed foods are made mostly of substances extracted from foods – fats, starches, added sugars and hydrogenated fats. They also contain additives such as artificial colors and flavors or stabilizers.
Doctors say that ultra-processed diets not only lead to heart disease, coronary heart disease and cerebrovascular disease but also lead to weight gain.
