Singer Neha Bhasin Recently, she has spoken about her health challenges and personal struggles. In an emotional social media post, the ‘Dhunki’ singer revealed her illness. Discomfort before menstruation ,PMDD) And Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder (OCPD). Although she was diagnosed with fibromyalgia two years ago, she had been concerned about her overall health for a long time. Bhasin began her Instagram post with an honest and heartfelt comment on her experiences.
“There’s so much I want to say but I really don’t know where to begin or how to sum up the helpless hell I’m feeling. After knowing for years that something was wrong. Today finally came a medically more aware diagnosis (on paper for 2 years, I’ve known since I was 20) which allows for proper treatment for mental and hormonal disorders. Along with all this came a huge realisation and then the acceptance that at least for now my nervous system feels broken,” her post read.
In her post, she wrote about a variety of symptoms, including chronic fatigue, physical and emotional pain, anxiety, and recurring episodes of depression. She also discussed past trauma, unhealthy eating patterns, and sleep disturbances, and emphasized the importance of therapy as part of her ongoing journey.
“My monthly PMDD still finds a way to throw me into the same dark hole or dig several new ones. Is this my failure? My OCPD asks.. My doctor calls it fibromyalgia which I am now accepting.. I have exercised. Danced and performed with pain for years thinking I was just tight so I was overstretching. My therapist said to do nothing for a while. Rest,” she further wrote.
