Wicked The co-stars looked gorgeous as they walked the red carpet ahead of the opening ceremony in Paris, France. Erivo wore a custom Louis Vuitton green satin bustier gown with 3D double folded details on the skirt, a matching belt, a green coated boxy hat, and metallized calf leather pumps.
Grande also looked gorgeous in a custom pink duchess silk Thom Browne dress that featured a bow detail along the pleats. She matched the dress with silk gloves and pink and white pebble grain leather pumps.
Before attending the opening ceremony, the two walked the red carpet and spoke to NBC Sports and revealed that they didn’t wear the same outfits. While they said it was just a coincidence, Grande says it has happened multiple times since they met on the first day of rehearsals.
The two also spoke about who they’re excited to see compete at these Games, including Simone Biles and the rest of Team USA, as well as track star Sha’Carri Richardson, just like the rest of the country. It’s a day of firsts for the girls, who are competing in their first Olympic Games.
