Have you ever given a deep voice to your voice for a hurry, breathing, or unusually deep days – and just closed it as “just a cool”? You may want to hear a little closer. Your voice is not just a medium for communication – it is also a mirror of your health.
“As an ENT and voice specialist, I often tell my patients that your voice can sometimes speak before your body,” Dr. Shama Kovle is called Surgeon Ant Surgeon at Kovale, Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. “Constant changes in your voice may be a way of putting some more serious flags of your body.”

Is your voice trying to warn you? Tell me here

Let us clarify one thing: Every morning voice is not a red flag. But if your cocks, rituals, or breath lasts for more than three weeks, then it is time to take notice. “One of the most unseen signs of Parkinson’s disease is a soft, monotonous voice,” Dr. Kovle says. “It may appear even before specific motor symptoms such as shocks or hardness.”

Similarly, thyroid disorders such as hypothyroidism can cause inflammation of vocal cords, resulting in a deep or raspi voice. The heart conditions like octar syndrome occur when an enlarged heart presses on the nerve that controls the voice box, leading to a respiratory speech.
“Even issues such as acid reflux (GERD) or autoimmune diseases such as lupus and rheumatoid arthritis can cause voice fatigue or discomfort,” she says.
In some cases, the issue may be more severe. Dr. Kovle warned, “A hoarse or breathing voice that comes with difficulty in swallowing or unexplained weight loss, may indicate cancer of thyroid, lungs, or vocal. Initial diagnosis is important.”

Mind-body-Awaaz connection

But all this is not physical. “Your voice often shows your emotional situation,” Dr. It is called Kovle. Did you ever feel trembling during a stressful speech? This is not just for the nerves-this is your mind-body-service connection at work.

Stress, anxiety and depression can cause muscle dysphonia, a condition where the voice seems stressful despite the structurally normal normal.
Dr. “In a high -pressure environment such as corporate jobs or entertainment industry, the burnout appears in the voice, before it shows on the face,” says Kovle.

Empowerment through awareness

Despite all this, many people ignore the change in voice, assuming that they are trivial. Dr. Kovale says, “We need to stop the change in voice because ‘just a sore throat’ or ‘Talking very much tomorrow.”

She strongly advocates for public awareness, especially among teachers, singers, call center agents and public speakers -they rely on their voice every day. “These professionals should be educated on vocal hygiene, including hydrated, throat cleaning, proper posture, voice comfort and avoiding breathing practice.”
“Your voice is your identity, your feeling, your energy,” Dr. Kovle says. “If it seems, it can whisper your body before shouting.”
