Absolutely! Raita is quite healthy in itself, as it is rich in protein. Adding fruits and vegetables like cucumber, onion and tomato further increases the nutritional value of raita. What goes with Nepali style raita?

How to make Nepali style raita at home. Nepali Style Raita Recipe

  • First of all, put curd and some water in a bowl. mix well.
  • Add finely chopped cucumber, onion, tomato, green chilli, salt, roasted cumin powder and fresh coriander to it. Give it a good mix.
  • For the tempering, heat mustard oil in a small pan and add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, black pepper and turmeric.
  • When the seeds start crackling, turn off the flame.
  • Pour the tempering over the curd mixture and mix well.
  • Your Nepali style raita is now ready to taste!
