Here’s what happens to your Club Vistara, co-branded credit card

On 11 November, Vistara completed its last flight as an independent airline. It will be merged with Tata owned company from 12th November. air india became effective and the integrated Air India-Vistara entity flew its first flight from Doha to Mumbai on Monday night. As Air India takes over Vistara’s operations, what happens to your co-branded credit cards, CV points, tickets, lounge access and more.

Vistara Co-Branded Credit Card

Vistara co-branded credit cardholders will continue to enjoy benefits irrespective of the progress of integration with Air India. The existing terms of these cards will remain valid till March 31, 2026, regardless of the merger timeline. However, cardholders must renew their annual membership by March 31, 2025.
Amid the merger, the report details how, from November 12, 2024, Club Vistara cardholders will receive additional perks like complimentary ticket vouchers and one class upgrade vouchers, along with their existing benefits. Additionally, tiered privileges will be retained for a full year after the merger is finalized, ensuring that members can continue to enjoy their loyalty benefits seamlessly.

Club Vistara

According to reports, Club Vistara will be merged with Air India’s Flying Returns program from November 12. Club Vistara members will be automatically assigned new Flying Returns IDs, to which membership details will automatically be transferred.

Passengers who already have a Flying Returns account with Air India can authorize the integration of their Club Vistara data with this account for better features. For those who do not have a Flying Returns account, an account will be automatically created using their Club Vistara information.

CV Loyalty Points

All Club Vistara (CV) points will be merged into the Air India system in a 1:1 ratio, including points that were scheduled to expire in September and October 2024. Also note that these points will have an extended validity of at least one year. From the transition date. Following the merger, members will continue to earn Flying Returns points, retaining their current tier status for one year.
Additionally, with Air India joining the Star Alliance, former Vistara members will get access to multiple reward redemption options across over 20 international airline partners.
