Looks like Diljit Dosanjh has taken the internet by storm. The popular Punjabi singer has made headlines for various reasons. Most recently his becoming the first Indian artist to appear on the cover of Billboard Canada. His songs keep making waves on social media also. Fans express their admiration for their favorite celebrities in different ways. A few days ago, an artiste paid tribute to Diljit with a delightfully funny post that also had a food element in it. In the video now going viral, we see a crispy dosa folded in half on a plate. The artist opens it to show the animation and ‘Chehra’ starts singing a few lines from Diljit’s famous song ‘Lover’. Sabri is known for his puns and there was some play on words in this post. He simply named it “Diljit Dosa”. The caption reads, “Diljeet was found in my dosa…and he cooked it.” Watch the full video below:

The Instagram post has received a lot of love online. In the comments section, some users responded with humorous comments. Check out some of the reactions below:

“The only Daljeet I can buy.”

“I didn’t know I needed to see this sentence play out.”

“It’s so beautiful.”

“Putting Puns in Punjabi.”

“Who leaked my dad’s brilliant joke?”.

“My humor is broken.”

“It’s even funnier if you follow Diljit’s Snapchat. Dosa seems to be his favorite breakfast. He’s always trying to convince his home cooks to make it, but they often end up making terrible ones.”

“People were desperate to buy her tickets and this guy stopped her from singing.”

This tribute seems appropriate as Diljit Dosanjh is a foodie himself. A few weeks ago, she posted a reel about what she cooked on a “busy day”, in which she showed us how she made a mouth-watering chicken curry. Click here to read the full story.
