For coffee lovers, cold coffee isn’t just a summer drink – it’s a treat to enjoy any time of year. But what happens when your order doesn’t match what you had in mind? Well, something similar happened to a woman from India when she found herself in an awkward situation with her partner in Italy. On Instagram, he shared his experience of ordering cold coffee, but was served a “shot of cold espresso” instead. Her Italian partner was initially amused by her disappointment – until he learned that cold coffee in India is a completely different ball game. “We were in Italy,” she says in her clip. It was summer and I saw cold coffee on the menu, so I ordered it, and they gave me a shot of cold espresso. And here this guy didn’t understand why I was complaining until he tasted real cold coffee in India.

As the video progresses, the couple finds themselves in a restaurant in India, where the woman’s partner takes a sip of iced coffee with chocolate syrup. While initially a little skeptical, he soon falls under its spell. “Good. She’s amazing. I love it,” he smiles and happily scoops out all the ice cream from the bottom of the glass. “There’s a lot to learn from us,” the woman says at the end of the video. ” “He was like, ‘You asked for cold coffee and you got cold coffee!’ But now he knows what real cold coffee is like!”

One coffee lover revealed that the Greek frappe was the “equivalent of Indian cold coffee”.
