Chatay Paneer tastes like a mixture of Paneer Pakora and Paneer Cheela, making it perfect for both breakfast and evening snack. To make Paneer Pakora, we will dip the paneer pieces in gram flour solution and deep fry them. Paneer cheela, on the other hand, is made by cooking whole gram flour batter on a pan and then adding grated or grated cheese on top. This recipe combines both with a creative look. The batter is prepared into a mat or mat like shape on the pan and a stick of paneer is rolled in it, giving you delicious and interesting looking Chati Paneer.
How to make viral mat paneer | Step-by-Step Guide to Making Mat Paneer
Firstly, prepare the masala for coating the paneer using red chilli powder, turmeric, coriander powder, salt, black pepper and garam masala. – Wrap a big stick of paneer well in spices and then cook it in oil on medium flame.
Now prepare the gram flour solution by mixing 1 teaspoon red chilli powder, turmeric and coriander powder in 1 cup gram flour. Add salt as per taste and 3/4 cup water. Mix everything and pour it into a squeeze bottle.
Now make a grid from the batter on low flame. – Place the cheese at one corner and then start rolling it slowly. Your mat paneer is ready. Serve hot with green chutney.
