A fabricated conversation between two people posing as a ‘food delivery agent’ and a ‘customer’ has gained a lot of attention on Instagram. A reel shared by digital creator Keshav Maloo (@sarcaaster) shows him and another content creator, Harshit Khatreja, playing two respective roles. What has caught the attention of millions of Instagram users are the words that form the basis of their conversations. Instead of using regular speech or scripted dialogues, vloggers ‘speak’ using only the lyrics of the songs. Lyrics from several popular Hindi film songs have been woven together for their “musical dialogue”.

The love of getting food out of the house seems to be a popular topic for content creators, who often choose to highlight different aspects of it in their reels. They use humor and exaggeration to show us how common it has become for many of us to not only order food online but to prefer home-cooked food options. Earlier, a vlogger’s funny take on a mother’s reaction to her son ‘rejecting’ home-cooked food had gone viral. Click here to read the full story.
