Travel advisory has been issued for. nagaland National Highway 29 (NH-29), a key route connecting the state with the rest of India, has been blocked following a series of landslides. Landslides triggered by heavy rains in recent days have disrupted transport and caused a lot of inconvenience to commuters.
Authorities have urged travellers to avoid unnecessary travel to Nagaland until the roads are cleared. Those who have to travel are advised to contact local authorities for the latest information on road conditions and alternative routes.
