Every new year brings with it new hopes, challenges and some unforgettable memories. If you are a foodie, your 2024 will be spent enjoying and exploring different cuisines. This year for all the food lovers, popular food and travel guide TasteAtlas has revealed the list of 100 best cuisines in the world. Lechona, a traditional Colombian dish consisting of roasted pig stuffed with onions, peas, rice, fresh herbs and spices, took first rank. Three Indian dishes made it to the list, while two evergreen dishes made it to the world’s 50 best dishes.
Murgh Makhani, internationally known as Butter Chicken, has been ranked 29th among the 100 best dishes of the world. Prepared with a delicious combination of roasted meat, lots of spices and a rich gravy made of cream, tomatoes and butter, this dish goes best with Naan (a type of Indian bread) and is further garnished with more butter, coriander Is decorated. , or green chilli.

The next Indian dish on the list is Hyderabadi Biryani at 31st place. This fragrant and aromatic dish includes basmati rice, goat mutton or chicken meat, lemon, curd, onion and saffron. The incredible taste of Hyderabadi biryani is also due to the unique process of cooking raw rice and raw meat with exotic spices.
Another Indian dish that made it to the list is Keema at the 100th position. Keema is a stew or curry made from minced lamb or goat meat, green peas, potatoes, ginger, chilli, onion, ghee, garlic and garam masala spices. In Urdu, Keema means minced meat. It is served with pav buns, naan and other flatbreads, and can also be used as a filling in samosas and parathas.
