Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao had a special evening to celebrate at Chef Vikas Khannaâs New York restaurant âBungalowâ lost ladies ,missing ladies) as Indiaâs official entry for Oscars 2025. A warm celebration was held in the evening which was attended by producers Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao and Jyoti Deshpande. Chef Khanna posted glimpses of the evening on his official Instagram handle. Aamir Khan also participated in the competition to make âBest Sheermaalâ along with âBanglaâ member Maisha Rizvi. For those unaware, Sheermaal is a saffron-flavoured traditional flatbread prepared from flour, ghee, salt and sugar.
Aamir Khan, often dubbed a âperfectionistâ, can be seen rolling out the dough and making designs on it with utmost dedication. Chef Khanna assists them by sharing some tips and sprinkling dry flour. Although he loses the competition to Maisha, Aamir feels proud of his work and happily gifts the prize to his beloved rival.

Expressing his appreciation towards the actor and producer, Chef Khanna wrote, âAamir sir, you are the kindest. The way you engaged Maisha and treated her with love and respect meant everything to me.â

Directed by Kiran Raomissing ladiesâ was selected as Indiaâs official Oscar entry for Best International Feature Film in September. The film had powerful cameos by actors Nitanshi Goyal, Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Srivastava and Chhaya Kadam and veteran Ravi Kishan.
