Masaba Gupta’s latest foodie update features an array of vibrant Goan cuisine. Take a look at her hearty meal below.
When Masaba Gupta travels, she loves to enjoy regional cuisine. On a recent trip to Goa, he made sure he sampled the local food and savored the distinctive coastal flavors of the region. Masaba took to her Instagram stories to give her fans and followers a glimpse of her authentic Goan feast, taken from a restaurant in Ajuna. His first update featured a single fish treat called Chonak Fry. This seafood dish is made by coating delicious sea perch or Asian sea bass in masala and rava (for a crispy coating). Chonak fries were served with banana chips on the side. As always, a slice of lemon was provided to squeeze over the fish and add flavor.
However, that was not all that Masaba liked. In her next Instagram story, we saw that she also had other seafood: dry (dried) prawn pickle and classic Goan prawn curry with rice. To bring balance to the plate, they served vegetable dishes like radish (mooli) curry and bhindi (ladyfinger). Sounds delicious and healthy, right? Masaba thanked the restaurant for accommodating her lunch request at the last minute and praised the meal, calling it “exquisite food”. Take a look at the screengrab below:
