Meteorologists have predicted that freezing temperatures and heavy snowfall will continue in the coming week, further affecting travel.

A massive blizzard has hit the United States, bringing record snowfall. One of the first significant blizzards of the season hit parts of New York, Pennsylvania and Michigan over the weekend, as it completely disrupted the post-Thanksgiving travel rush. Meteorologists have predicted that freezing temperatures and heavy snowfall will continue in the coming week, further affecting travel.
Many people shared shocking pictures and videos on their official handles.
According to reports, parts of New York, Ohio and Michigan received about 2 feet of snowfall. On the other hand, the northwestern region of Pennsylvania recorded 29 inches. By early Saturday morning, areas near Lake Erie and Ontario had already received up to 24 inches of snowfall.
Additionally, a surge of arctic air hit the northern plains, causing temperatures to drop 10 to 20 degrees below normal. The National Weather Service also issued a freeze advisory for areas of North Dakota.
Meanwhile, fear of Arctic blast has also been raised in Britain. It can reduce temperatures down to -12C. Met Office forecaster Marco Petagna said the sudden change in temperatures was caused by icy winds blowing into Britain from the Arctic.
