On Sunday, November 3, the actress treated herself to an authentic Jharkhand dish known as Dhuska. FYI: Dhuska is a deep-fried rice cake prepared using rice, lentils and aromatic spices. This crunchy snack is served with potato curry or chana dal. In the video shared on Instagram, Bhagyashree is seen holding a plate of Dhuska served with gram vegetable. The text accompanying the post reads, “Dhuska… fried golden. I wanted to taste the local cuisine.

Earlier, Bhagyashree took her stomach on a joy ride and tasted the dish Lai Sabzi from Arunachal Pradesh. It is prepared using bamboo shoots and bottle gourd leaves and is rich in nutrients and vitamins. Bhagyashree ate it with boiled rice. Sharing more details about Lai Ki Sabzi on Instagram, she said, “This preparation contains almost all the vital nutrients required by your body. It is great for weight watchers as it is light on the stomach as well as tasty on the tongue. Made with a hint of bhut jolokia (a chilli with a spiciness level that beats any other chilli) it also helps burn fat. This dish is not for the faint of heart as it can really turn up the heat. This unique vegetable… a mixture of lye and bamboo shoots… is straight from the cuisine of Arunachal Pradesh.”
Bhagyashree is interested in traditional cuisine. evidence? Sometime back, the actress enjoyed a plate of soft-spongy millet dosa served with coconut chutney and sambar dal. Wait, there’s more.
