Christina Hall and Josh Hall’s divorce has become contentious since they filed for divorce this month.

The 41-year-old HGTV star responded on Instagram Stories Josh’s photo on his story showing her taking a walk in the woods. That post also included a praying hands emoji. After describing her estranged husband as “an insecure man with a big ego,” Christina added, “For those who don’t know… divorce doesn’t happen overnight… and there’s always a breaking point. It’s a personal matter.”
Divorce proceedings reached a boiling point this week when Christina filed legal court documents in which she claimed Josh More than $35,000 of his money was diverted deposited money from rental property proceeds into his personal Wells Fargo bank account. She claimed Josh, 43, contacted her professional property manager via text on July 8 and said, “Hi. For June’s payment, can we send it to another account when it’s time? Thanks.” Christina, who attached a screenshot of the alleged text as an exhibit to her filing, further said she found out about this on July 21. She further claimed that she “had no personal contact with Josh on July 8, 2024” and therefore “would not have asked him to send money the day after I told him I wanted a divorce.”
When reached for comment, Josh denied any wrongdoing to ET. For her part, Christina said in court documents that she would “conduct a full forensic accounting for the entire duration of our marriage,” which ended after two years and nine months.
