The Red Sea, known for its coral reefs and diverse marine ecosystems, served as the setting for this innovative wedding of Hassan Abu Al-Ola and Yasmin Daftardar, who are both avid divers. This couple decided to exchange vows on the beach Jeddah Amid crystal-clear waters filled with colorful fish and stunning coral formations to raise awareness of the importance of conserving these delicate ecosystems. According to Gulf News, the event was organized by Saudi Divers, a local diving group led by Captain Faisal Flambon, and a small group of fellow divers also participated in the event.
“It was really a surprise,” Hassan Abu Ola said in an interview, according to Gulf News. “When we got ready, Captain Faisal and the team told us that they planned to celebrate their wedding right there under the sea. It was a beautiful and unforgettable experience.” The duo, who are both experienced divers, managed to complete the ceremony with ease. “Alhamdulillah, there was no challenge,” Abu Ola said. “The celebration went smoothly, and everyone was amazed at how unconventional and fabulous it was.”

By sharing his story and stunning photos, he aimed to inspire others to visit Saudi Arabia to explore the country’s vibrant marine life. “This is just one way we can contribute to realizing the vision of Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the prince of youth and visionary leader of our great country,” Abu Ola said in the interview.
