What to Serve with Cheesy Vada Pav Sliders?
These Paneer Vada Pav sliders taste delicious on their own. However, if you want to serve them with something else, opt for the classic mint chutney. The tangy flavour of the chutney goes really well with the vada pav. If you don’t like too much of spices, you can also serve it with tomato ketchup.
How to make Cheesy Vada Pav Sliders | Cheesy Vada Pav Sliders Recipe
Step 1: Prepare the Garlic Sauce
First, dry roast dried red chilies, garlic cloves, peanuts, sesame seeds and grated coconut. When done, put it in a mixer grinder and add red chili powder, dried mango powder and salt. Grind for about a minute, or until it becomes a coarse powder.
Step 2: Make the Potato Filling
Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, curry leaves, chopped garlic and green chilies. Fry well. Now, add chopped onions and salt and mix well. After this, add turmeric and asafoetida and mix again. Add boiled and mashed potatoes, mix well and add coriander leaves.
Step 3: Time to Assemble Everything!
Cut the vada pav into halves. Spread mint chutney on them, followed by the potato mixture. Top it with paneer pieces, grated mozzarella cheese and prepared garlic chutney. Place the other half of the pav on top of it and apply plenty of butter on it. Cover with foil and bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 15-20 minutes.
