A shocking video of an Indigo plane trying to land at Chennai airport is going viral on social media. To avoid any accident, the flight touched the runway and immediately took off. Coming from Mumbai, the flight successfully tried to land at Chennai airport twice between 10:30 am and 11:00 am. However, it had to take off after landing on the runway.

This happened due to extreme weather conditions cyclone fangal In Chennai. The airport also remained closed for more than 16 hours. Flight operations were withdrawn citing adverse conditions. However, this video has gone viral on social media and many people are posting this clip again and again.

This 8,000 feet runway is built on ice. Below the runway, you will find culverts allowing water to flow off the mountain. Due to lack of runway lighting, flights are permitted only during daylight hours.
